AND you'll be getting some valuable exercise, saving $$ and helping the environment!Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02803104035204416080noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6334522028323028738.post-11538257263246579542011-05-03T15:36:54.990-07:002011-05-03T15:36:54.990-07:00yeah you're back! I'd definitely invest in a helmet - check online for prices then look locally. Depending on how heavy the traffic is you may want those pads for your knees and elbows too just in case.
I wish I could bike to work - I'd be in much better shape. I'm too afraid with the traffic plus the areas I'd have to ride through - Houston's not the safest place and we have a lot of signs now warning about 'sharing the road' with motorcycles and they're at least going the speed limit! we have bike lanes as well but if you turn left you still have to get into the flow of traffic and watch for the cars turning right. kudos though for moving close to your job and getting a bike!Suzyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09736403277973311615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6334522028323028738.post-53540814162709027982011-05-03T14:05:18.160-07:002011-05-03T14:05:18.160-07:00Yes, please invest in a good helmet. Giro is a good name and you can usually get them for a pretty price and some fun designs.

Good luck with the unpacking!Little Lambhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13012995875989448792noreply@blogger.com
