Hi there! Hope you all had a nice 4th of July :) Here's my Weekly Money Check-Up, courtesy of My Pretty Pennies.1. The most I’ve spent this last week was on groceries. Sometimes we come in under budget, but this week we went a little overboard buying yummy stuff for the long holiday weekend.
2. Today I am thankful for fresh starts. I love changing the calendar and feeling as though it's a new month and time for a fresh start.
3. Money can’t buy happiness. One free thing I did last week that made me happy was read another book! We spent all day outside on Monday and I got to relax and finish a whole book. It was a good day!
4. I will consider this week a success if I get some backlogged stuff done at work. I've accumulated a small pile here that I'll be happy about if I can make it disappear this week.
5. My favorite 4th of July tradition is watching the fireworks! Hands down, I love fireworks and really look forward to being able to watch them on the 4th.
